Problem statement
The client had critical business data scattered across spreadsheets, Salesforce, Stripe, and disconnected tools, making it nearly impossible to get a complete picture of business health. Weekly leadership meetings consumed 3-4 hours just compiling reports from different sources. Data was often inconsistent between systems, leading to conflicting decisions. Non-technical team members couldn't access data without requesting reports from the data team.
Solution approach
We designed a centralized dashboard with role-based access that connects directly to their existing data sources via APIs. Real-time KPI cards display metrics as they happen. Automated reporting workflows generate weekly PDFs and send them to stakeholders automatically. The interface uses clear visual hierarchies, color-coded indicators, and trend sparklines to make data easy to understand at a glance. We built custom integrations with their specific tools and created a flexible schema so they can add new data sources without engineering involvement.
Results
Leadership meetings are now 1 hour instead of 4 hours. The team moved from making decisions on incomplete data to making decisions with 95% accuracy.
